EMRS Recruitment 2025

EMRS is an autonomous organisation established under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), on behalf of EMRS, is responsible for conducting the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2025. This exam aims to recruit eligible candidates for 7,267 vacancies in both teaching and non-teaching positions at Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across the country. The online application submission for the EMRS Recruitment 2025 is now over, and the applied candidates will be now issued with admit cards for the exam scheduled for 13th, 14th and 21st December 2025.

The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has announced job openings under the EMRS Teaching & Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 for various positions. Available roles include Principal, Postgraduate Teachers, and Trained Graduate Teachers. EMRS Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The main objective of the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) is to ensure tribal students get access to quality education in remote tribal areas. Those candidates who want to apply for the EMRS Teaching and Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 should check the eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit.

Education Qualification

The education qualification for EMRS Teacher Recruitment 2025 is a graduate, postgraduate, or B.Ed. degree while for the non-teaching posts, the education qualification varies post-wise.

  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) certificate from a recognised Board and possessing a minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English typing or 30 words per minute in Hindi typing
Lab Attendant
  • 10th Class Pass with a certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique from a recognised board/institute (OR)
  • 12th Class with Science stream from a recognised board/ institute.

To complete the EMRS Application Form 2025, candidates have to pay an application fee as per category. The application fee has to be paid in online mode through Net banking/UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card/Wallet etc. Any form without an application fee will not be accepted.

Candidates who are willing to apply for EMRS Teacher & Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 must follow the steps-

Step 1: Visit the EMRS official website at www.emrs.tribal.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Careers/Notification” tab on the Homepage.

Step 3: Search for EMRS Recruitment 2025 and click on it.

Step 4: Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details.

Step 5: Upload a,ll the required documents including your passport-size photograph, signature, certificates, etc.

Step 6: Recheck all the details of your application form before proceeding to the payment page.

Step 7: Pay the application fees as mentioned, category-wise.

Step 8: Click on the submit button.

Step 9: After successfully submitting the application form, applicants may note their registration number and take a printout copy of the confirmation page.

EMRS Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the EMRS Recruitment 2025 on the basis of their performance in the written test. Those candidates who clear the written exam will be called to appear for an interview round. The final merit list will be based on the score in the written test and interview.

Stages Details
Tier I – Preliminary Examination The first stage of the recruitment process will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature.
Tier II – Subject Knowledge Examination Candidates who qualify in Tier I will appear for this stage, which will assess their subject-specific knowledge in detail. The Tier 2 exam will be held for a total of 100 marks.
Personal Interaction / Interview The Interview exam will be held for Principal posts. The interview process will include a total of 40 marks.

EMRS Salary Structure 2025

Those candidates who will be selected for the teacher posts will get the salary as per the post. Candidates who will be selected for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) will get a salary of Rs. 47600/- to Rs. 151100/- under Level 8.
