EMRS TGT 2025 Overview
To be selected for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher, candidates have to go through a selection process that includes 3 stages, i.e., Tier I Exam (Preliminary Exam), Tier II Exam (Subject Knowledge Examination), and Personal Interview. EMRS TGT Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates intending to apply for EMRS PGT Recruitment 2025 must carefully review the eligibility criteria related to educational qualifications and age limit before submitting their application. Applications from candidates who do not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria will be rejected.
Educational Qualification
The required educational qualification for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher is as follows;
- (A) Bachelor's Degree in Subject
- 4-year integrated graduation degree course from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks in all subjects individually as well as in the aggregate (OR)
- Bachelor's/Honours Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in all subjects
- (B) Bachelor's Degree in Education, B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks (OR)
- 3 years integrated B.Ed. -M.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks
- (С) Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test
Age Limit (As on 23.10.2025)
The candidates who will be applying for the Post Graduate Teacher posts must not be exceeding 35 years in age as on the cutoff date, i.e., 23.10.2025.. The age relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable under the Government of India Rules.

- The exam will be conducted for a total of 120 marks.
- Exam Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3 for every incorrect answer.
- The Language Competency Test is qualifying in nature, with a minimum of 40% marks in each language. If the candidate didn't qualify in the Language Competency Test, then other subjects will not be evaluated.
