EMRS PGT Eligibility Criteria 2025
Those candidates who want to apply for the EMRS PGT Recruitment 2025 should check the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications and age limit before filling out their application forms to make sure that they fulfill the required eligibility criteria, as any candidates who do not fulfill the required eligibility criteria will have their application rejected.
Educational Qualification
The candidates must fulfill the following criteria in terms of educational qualification.
- Integrated Post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate, including B.Ed. component
- Post-Graduation (Master's) Degree
- B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks (OR)
- 3 years B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks (OR)
- 4 years Integrated graduation degree with at least 50% marks, including B.Ed. component
Age Limit (As on 23.10.2025)
The candidates who will be applying for the Post Graduate Teacher posts must not be exceeding 40 years in age as on the cutoff date, i.e., 23.10.2025.. The age relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable under the Government of India Rules.

EMRS PGT Exam Pattern 2025
To excel in this EMRS PGT Exam, candidates need to be familiar with the latest EMRS PGT Exam Pattern 2025. It is held in two stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2. With the help of the exam pattern, candidates can know the type os questions, topics asked in the exam, marking scheme, and other details.
EMRS PGT Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2025
The exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks + 20 Language Competency Test. Candidates will be given a time limit of 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete their exam. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer. Language Competency Test is qualifying in nature, with a minimum of 40% marks in each language. If the candidate didn't qualify in the Language Competency Test, then other subjects will not be evaluated.
