The selection of the candidates for Police Constable under West Bengal Police Department will be based on Written Exam, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Interview. WBP Constable Exam 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

WBP Constable Selection Process 2024-25

The selection process for WBP Constable Recruitment involves four stages to ensure that only the most deserving candidates proceed. WBP Constable Selection Process includes the following stages:

1. Written Exam: In the first stage i.e. Written Exam, candidates will be assessed through General Awareness and General Knowledge, English, Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik standard), Reasoning, and Logical Analysis. It consists of 85 objective-type questions.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates will be shortlisted through an OMR-based Written Exam for the Physical Measurement Test.
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
4. Interview: The fourth stage of the selection process for WBP Constable posts will be the interview round. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of all the 4 stages.
