The result has been released at the UPSC official website www.upsc.gov.in in the PDF format, listing the roll numbers of candidates eligible to appear for Mains exam. Candidates can now search for their names and roll numbers in the result PDF to check their qualifying status.
UPSC Prelims Result 2026 Out
The UPSC CSE 2026 Prelims exam was conducted on 24th May 2026 at various exam centres to recruit eligible candidates for various Civil Service posts. Nearly 5.49 lakh candidates who have appeared for the exam can now check their qualifying status by accessing the result from the Union Public Service Commission official website www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates whose names and roll numbers appear in the result PDF have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., a mains exam.
As per the result, 13,343 candidates have been declared qualified in prelims exam and shortlisted for Mains exam which is scheduled from 21st August 2026 onwards for 1016 vacancies.
