TNPSC Group 3 Selection Process 2024

For the selection of deserving candidates, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) follows a selection procedure involving two stages- a written examination and an interview. After passing both stages, candidates will be hired for the respective TNPSC Group 3 posts.

Stage 1- Written Exam: The selection process for various TNPSC Group 3 posts begins with a written examination of 300 marks. Candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination to move to the next stage of the selection process.

Stage 2- Interview: Candidates selected after the written examination will have to appear for an interview. After this stage, candidates who get selected will be finally hired for the respective posts.

TNPSC Group 3 Exam Pattern 2024

The written examination for various posts of TNPSC Group 3 is conducted for a total of 300 marks including objective-type questions, detailed exam pattern is provided below.

  • The written exam includes two parts i.e. A & B, each for 150 marks.
  • For every correct answer, candidates will get 1.5 marks.
  • The exam is conducted for a total duration of 3 hours/180 minutes.
