NEET PG 2022 Exam Date Out: The National Eligibility Entrance Test, Postgraduate (or NEET (PG)) is a qualifying and ranking examination in India, for students who wish to study various postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and diploma courses, in government or private medical colleges in the country. NEET PG Exam is conducted annually by NBE (National Board of Examination) for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. The counselling and seat allotment is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Latest Update: NEET PG 2022 Exam has been rescheduled fro 21st May 2022 (9:00 am to 12:30 pm) for which NEET PG Admit Card will be available from 16th May 2022 onwards.

The NEET PG 2022 Exam Date for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2021 has been released by the National Board of Examination (NBE). NEET PG 2022 application process involves steps such as registration, filling up details in application form, paying exam fee, and uploading documents. Steps to Fill NEET PG 2022 Application Form

Application forms CANNOT be submitted offline / printed copy by post. Submission of the application form for appearing in the NEET-PG 2020 is to be undertaken online at the website www.nbe.edu.in. The following sequence shall be observed while filing the online application form:

Step 1:  Fill the user registration form to generate User ID/Application ID and password.

Step 2:  User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.

Step 3:  Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, Scannedsignature, Thumb impression & Prescribed documents.

Step 4:   Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee.

Step 5:   Agree to the declaration and submit the Application.

Step 6:   Take a printout of the filled Application form with Transaction printed on it for records.

NEET PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification - Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956

Certificate of Registration - Candidates must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent/provisional). This registration is supposed to be issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI)

Internship - As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG candidate must complete their one-year internship on or before June 30, 2022

Fees shall neither be refunded nor carried forward if the application for NEET PG 2022 is rejected/candidature is found to be ineligible or candidate is unable to appear in the examination.

NEET PG 2022 Edit/ Correction Window

Candidates who have successfully submitted their application during the Application Submission window shall only be allowed to edit their applications from 08th to 11th February 2022. No new application can be registered during the edit window. All editable fields in the application form shall be open for the candidate to make any corrections if so required. Details of the field which cannot be edited are mentioned below.

Information entered in the application form can be changed during the “Edit Window”.However, the following fields in the application form shall remain non-editable:

• Name of the Candidate

• Email ID

• Nationality

• Test City

If a candidate updates his/her category or PWD status during the edit window which requires him/her to make any payment of the difference in Examination Fee to the National Board of Examination the difference of examination fee needs to be deposited through demand draft drawn in favour of National Board of Examinations, payable at New Delhi before the date of issuance of admit cards.

No editing in the information provided shall be permissible in the application form, once the edit window is over.

NEET PG 2022 Exam Pattern

As per the NEET PG 2022 exam pattern, there will be 200 objective questions in the test. Earlier, a total of 300 questions were asked in the NEET PG exam. The duration of NEET PG 2022 is 3 hours and 30 minutes. As per the NEET PG exam pattern, the test will be conducted in a computer-based mode. The NEET PG 2022 has been postponed. The NEET PG exam will be conducted in the English language only.

NEET PG 2022 Admit Card

NEET PG 2022 Admit Cards will be released on 07th March 2022. NEET PG Admit Cards will be available on the official website. The candidates are required to download their admit card from the NBE website and affix firmly their latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. 

The photograph must meet the following specifications:

• Size of photograph: Minimum 35 x 45 mm (and not larger than the box printed on admit card for pasting the photograph) with at least 75% area on the photograph should be occupied with the face & head of the candidate.

• It should be a Colour photograph with white background

• The photograph needs to display a full front view of the face with a neutral expression. No Caps, Stethoscope, Goggles, Ornamentsto be worn.

• The photograph should not have reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.

• The photograph needs to be printed on high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi Resolutions.

• The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.

NEET PG 2022 Declaration of Result

The eligibility criteria for participation in counselling towards allotment of PG seats conducted by designated counselling authority shall be in accordance with the post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations (as per latest amendment) notified by the NMC/ the erstwhile MCI with prior approval of MoHFW, Govt. of India. The NEET PG 2022 Date for result declaration is 31st March 2022.
