SSC MTS Exam Date 2026 Out, CBT Exam from 4 Feb & Slot Booking from 15 Jan

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced SSC MTS Exam Date 2026 along with the date for the commencement of self-slot selection on 2nd January 2026. Candidates who have applied for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025, will have their computer-based test scheduled from 4th February 2026 onwards. The candidates will be facilitated with a self-slot selection facility from 15th January 2026 onwards.

SSC MTS Exam Date 2026 Out

As per the official SSC MTS Exam Date notice released, only the start dates for the CBT Exam and self-slotted is informed, and the complete schedule will be released shortly. The exam will be conducted as a computer-based test, and admit cards for the tier 1 CBT exam will be released 2 to 3 days before the scheduled exam date. The selection of candidates for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) posts includes a Tier 1 exam followed by a physical test specially for Havaldar posts.

SSC MTS Slot Selection 2026

Along with exam date, the slot booking start date is also announced. Candidates can select their preferred exam slot through the official website ssc.gov.in from 15th January 2026 onwards. The slot booking window typically opens a few days before the exam, allowing choices for city, date, shift, and centre. Admit cards with selected details will be issued only for the candidates who will avail slot booking facility.

SSC MTS 2026 Exam Timings

Seeing the past year’s exam timings, SSC MTS 2026 Computer-Based Exam (CBE) can be conducted in four shifts for which candidates must have to report at least 1.5 hour before their scheduled start time.

SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 Release Date

As per trends, the admit cards for SSC MTS CBT Exam will be released 2 to 3 days before the scheduled exam date. The SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 will begin to be released from 1st February 2026 onwards at www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates must stay updated with the official website for any update.
