Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the official schedule for the SSC Combined Graduate Examination 2025. As per the official SSC CGL Exam Date 2025 Notice released on its official website, www.ssc.gov.in, the tier 1 exam will be conducted from 12th to 26th September 2025. The exam will be held on all days including Saturdays & Sundays.
SSC CGL Exam Date 2025 Out
This year, around 28 lakh candidates have applied for the SSC CGL Exam 2025 for 14582 Group B and C vacancies. The applied candidates have to now appear for CBE 1/Tier 1 Exam which has been scheduled for 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th & 26th September 2025.
SSC has already released the exam city information for all candidates who applied for the SSC CGL 2025 exam informing them about their exam city details. The admit cards with the complete venue address will be released by 9th September 2025, i.e. 3 to 4 days before the exam date.

SSC CGL Exam 2025 Shift Timings
As per the latest announcement made by SSC Chairman, S. Gopalakrishnan, now the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be conducted in a single shift each day from 12th to 26th September 2025. The shift timing and reporting time will be notified through exam city slips.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be of a qualifying nature and marks will not be counted in the final selection. However, candidates scoring more than the cut off marks will be shortlisted ofr next stage.
