Vardhman Mahavir Open University, Kota, Rajasthan, is responsible for conducting the Pre-Diploma in Elementary Education Entrance Examination for admission into the 2-year diploma program for elementary education (General/Sanskrit). The Rajasthan BSTC Pre DELED Exam 2026 Notification has been released on 2nd December 2025. The Pre-DELED exam comprises 200 multiple-choice questions from the topics of Mental Ability, General Knowledge of Rajasthan, Teaching Aptitude, English, Sanskrit, and Hindi for a total of 600 marks. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer.

Rajasthan BSTC Pre DELED Exam Pattern 2026

The DELED entrance examination will have a total of 600 marks and will be conducted over 3 hours. Candidates should thoroughly understand the detailed exam pattern for this state-level entrance exam, as it will assist them in creating an effective study plan and ultimately lead to better results.

• Every single question carries 3 marks, i.e. for every correct answer, candidates will be rewarded +3.
• There will not be any negative markings for incorrect or unattempted questions.
• The question paper will be divided into four sections: A, B, C, and D.
• Section D will be further divided into three sub-sections:

1. D-I: English
2. D-II: Sanskrit
3. D-III: Hindi

• All candidates are required to attempt Sections A, B, C, and Section D-I (English).
• From Sections D-II and D-III, candidates are required to choose only one section based on the course they have applied for.
• Candidates who are applying for the D.El.Ed. (Sanskrit) must attempt Section D-II (Sanskrit).
• Candidates applying for the DElEd (General) must attempt Section D-III (Hindi).
• If a candidate has chosen both DElEd General and Sanskrit, they must attempt D-2 (Sanskrit).
