Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2023

The candidates should have passed Matriculate or 10th Class in the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. ITI certificate is compulsory for the candidates to apply for Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2023. Candidates’ age should not be less than 15 years and not exceed 24 years. 1. SSC (Standard 10th) or its equivalent Mark Sheet.
2. Consolidated ITI mark Sheet of all semesters of the trade.
3. National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT.
4. Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC Applicants.
5. Disability certificate, in case of PwBD Applicants.
6. Discharge certificate / Serving certificate, in case of Applicants applied against Ex-Servicemen quota.
7. Scanned copy/ soft copy of their color photograph (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm ) taken not later than three months from the date of application, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of the file should be between 20 kb-70 kb).

Railway Apprentice Educational Qualification

Railway Apprentice Selection Process

There will be no written test or viva. Selection of the eligible candidates for Apprentice posts will be based on the merit list which would be prepared by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the Applicants in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. Selected candidates will be called for Document Certificates and candidates are required to report for Document Verification along with their Originals Medical Fitness Certificate.

Selected Candidates for Apprentices’ posts will undergo Apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a Stipend/Salary during the training at the prescribed rate as per extant rules governed by the concerned State Governments.
