As the prelims exam is scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of August 2026, candidates who haven't downloaded their admit cards yet must download now without any delay. The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI PO admit card 2026 for the prelims examination, along with the exam date and shift timings, on the new official website of SBI, i.e., www.sbi.bank.in. 

This year, around 1,214,076 candidates have applied for the SBI PO exam, and they can download their admit cards now using their login details, i.e., their registration number/roll number and password/date of birth by visiting the official website www.sbi.bank.in.

SBI PO Admit Card 2026- Overview

The SBI PO prelims exam will be conducted on two consecutive days 1st and 2nd August 2026 in total 8 shifts daily for the recruitment of 1,500 probationary officers under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. SBI PO Prelims 2026: Exam Day Checklist!

As the exam is on 1st and 2nd August, candidates must keep all documents and items ready- 

• Hardcopy of Admit Card
• Original ID Proof along with one photocopy
• 3 Passport-size photographs — 1 to be pasted on the Admit Card, and 2 to be kept with you
• Affidavit or FIR Copy (only if applicable/required)
• Blue/Black transparent ballpoint pen
• Transparent water bottle

1. Visit the new official website of the State Bank of India at @www.sbi.bank.in.
2. In the bottom left corner of the homepage, click on the “Careers” option.
3. A new page with URL https://sbi.bank.in/web/careers opens.
4. Click on the JOIN SBI link on the menu bar and then click on the “Current Openings” tab.
5. Search for “Recruitment of Probationary Officers" in the Current Openings section and then click on it.
6. Click on “Call Letter for Prelims Exam", and a new page opens.
7. Select Admit Card language and enter your Registration Number/Roll No. & Password/DOB generated at the time of registration.

The SBI PO Preliminary Examination is an online examination where the candidates must solve the question paper in 1 hour for 100 marks. A negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for each incorrect answer. The test consists of three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

Reasoning Ability: Puzzles (Floor, Box, Scheduling), Seating Arrangements (Circular, Linear, Square), Syllogism, Inequalities, Coding-Decoding, and Blood Relations.

English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Spotting, Para Jumbles, and Word Swap.
