PSPCL Assistant Lineman In-Hand Salary 2026

The salary of a PSPCL Assistant Lineman is governed by the Punjab Revised Pay Rules. The initial basic pay is Rs. 19,900 per month, which is the starting point of the pay scale. The pay scale for the post is Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200, with incremental rises over the years of service.

After adding applicable allowances (DA, HRA, TA, etc.) and deducting contributions toward EPF and other heads, the gross salary ranges from approximately Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, while the in-hand (take-home) salary typically falls between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000, depending on the posting location and applicable allowances.

Note: During the probationary period (3 years), employees do not receive DA, Grade Pay, or annual increments. Only Travelling Allowance and Medical Reimbursement are paid during probation.

PSPCL Assistant Lineman Probation Period

Candidates selected as Assistant Lineman under PSPCL will be placed on a probationary period of 3 years, as per the instructions issued by the Government of Punjab from time to time. The following rules apply during probation:

1. Employees will NOT receive Dearness Allowance (DA), annual increments, or Grade Pay during the probation period.
2. Travelling Allowance (TA) and Medical Reimbursement are the only allowances payable during probation
3. Confirmation of appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of the probationary period and any required training.
4. The probation period may be extended in cases of unsatisfactory performance.
