The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, successfully conducted the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET 2025) on 17th December 2025 to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in Classes I to VIII in government, private aided, and private unaided schools across the state.

A total of 160,420 candidates appeared for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET 2025-26) across various centers, and the wait for candidates to know their qualifying status is finally over with the announcement of the OTET Result 2026. The pass percentage of the exam is 68.97%.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for OTET Exam

To pass the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test, candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks respective to their category. The minimum qualifying mark for the General category is 90, and for the reserved categories is 75 out of the total 150 marks of the OTET 2026 exam.
