Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is going to conduct the OPSC ASO written exam under Advt. No. 02 of 2025-26 on 9th November 2025 (Sunday) for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Section Officer in the Office of the Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack, under Advt. No. 02 of 2025-26.

Steps to Download OPSC ASO Admit Card 2025

To download the OPSC Assistant Section Officer admit card 2025 from the official website, candidates can follow the steps provided below.

1. Open your web browser and go to the official website of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), i.e., https://www.opsc.gov.in/.
2. On the homepage of the OPSC website, find the section labeled “Candidate Corner.”
3. Within the “Candidate Corner” section, candidates find an option called “Download Admission Certificate.” Click on this link.
4. A new page opens where you look for a link titled “Assistant Section Officer in the Office of the Advocate General, Odisha (Advt. No. 02 of 2025-26) – Download Admission Certificate & Instructions for Written Examination”.
5. Click on this link.
6. On the next page, you are required to enter your exam name, PPSAN number, and date of birth. These details are essential for identifying your application.
7. After entering your details, click on the “Print Admission Certificate and Instructions” button.
8. Your OPSC ASO Admit Card 2025 is displayed on the screen.
9. Review all the information on it. Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.

OPSC ASO Admit Card 2025- Exam Timings

The examination will be held in three shifts: 9 am to 10:30 am, 11:30 am to 1 pm, and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates can check the exam timings for each shift in the table below.

OPSC ASO Admit Card 2025 – Important Instructions

The candidate should carefully read and follow the instructions printed on the OPSC ASO Admit Card. Candidates must adhere to the following instructions on the day of the examination.

1. Candidates must carry the OPSC ASO Admit Card 2025 to be eligible to appear for the examination.
2. Candidates must bring his/her identity proof in original (i.e. Voter Identity Card/ Driving license/PAN Card/Passport/ Aadhar Card/ Identity Card of Educational Institution) and a photocopy.
3. The candidate is advised to bring his/her own ballpoint pen. The use of other pens is strictly prohibited.
4. The candidate should report one hour before the stipulated time of commencement of the examination. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
5. The candidate must bring his/her Admission Certificate/ Admit card to the Examination Hall, duly affixing his/her recent passport-size photograph at the space provided.
6. Any electronic device, like Log Tables, calculators, mobile phones, Digital and smart Watches, Earphones, iPads, and Pagers, is strictly prohibited from being carried inside the examination hall.

OPSC Assistant Section Officer Exam Pattern 2025

The exam pattern for Assistant Section Officer is as follows:

• There are three papers that consist of subjects like General awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, English, and Odia.
• The total questions in the exam is 400.
• Each question carries 1 mark
• 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

OPSC ASO Selection Process 2025

Candidates will be selected for Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts based on the following selection stages.

1. Written Examination – The first stage of the selection process is a written exam, which will be held for a total of 400 marks
2.  Skill Test in Computer – Qualified candidates in the written exam will be called to appear for the Skill Test, which is qualifying in nature and will be held for a total of 50 marks
