Educational Qualifications

There are some necessary educational qualifications that every candidate must have before applying for the NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024. The candidates will be required to provide the certificate proof of their essential qualifications.

• Candidates must have valid GATE scores in the 2022/2023/2024 examination.
• BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M Tech from University/Deemed University or Institute approved by AICTE/UGC with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the six engineering fields listed below. A minimum of 60% represents the minimum score required by the particular university’s regulations.

Age Limit (As on 30/04/2024)

Candidates belonging to different categories must be at least 18 years of age and the upper age limits vary for NPCIL Recruitment 2024, candidates belonging to General/EWS categories must not be more than 26 years of age as on 30th April 2024 i.e. he/she must have been born on or after 30th April 1998. 

NPCIL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Selection of the candidates for the posts of executive trainees will be done based on a personal Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview stage as per the merit list drawn after the GATE examination (after 2021). If in the merit list, more than 1 candidate obtains the same cut-off marks as specified by the authorities then all of them will be considered for personal interview. The language in which the candidate will answer the question during the interview round is his/her preference, he/she can answer either in English or Hindi. Candidates must remember that the final selection for the NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024  will be done based on the marks obtained in the personal interview and not the marks obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024 Salary

After the final selection round, candidates will first be appointed for the training period of 1 year in NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024, during the training period candidates will get Rs. 55,000/- as their monthly stipend. After the training period ends, candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C in Group A. The monthly pay of the executive trainee employees after the training period will be Rs. 56,100/- as per the pay level 10 including a 50% dearness allowance (DA).
