ISRO Stenographer Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the required qualifications on or before the closing date of the application.
For Assistant / UDC posts:
- Candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognised university, with a pre-requisite condition that graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the university; (AND)
- Computer proficiency is mandatory
For JPA / Stenographer posts:
- Candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognised university, with a pre-requisite condition that graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the university (OR)
- Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognised board/university, with a pre-requisite condition that the diploma should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the university;
- One year of experience as a steno-typist/stenographer (AND)
- A minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English stenography; (AND)
- Candidates must also be proficient with a computer.

ISRO Salary Structure 2026
Candidates selected through ISRO recruitment will be appointed in Level 4 of the Pay Matrix with a starting basic pay of Rs 25,500 per month. In addition to the basic salary, employees will receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) as per Central Government rules.
