Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) shared a notice regarding the Karnataka SET Exam Date 2023 through their X account. As per the notice, the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) exam is scheduled for 31st December 2023. The KSET Paper 1 exam will be held from 10 am to 11 am and the Paper 2 exam will be held from 12 pm to 02 pm at the various exam centers across Karnataka state. Steps to Apply for KSET Application Form 2023

Step 2- On the left side of the homepage at the careers section click on the job opening.

Step 3- Scroll the page and click on a link for submitting the Online Application.

Step 4- A new page will open click on move to next step.

Step 5- Click on the register now and enter your personal details and valid Mobile Number and Email Address.

Step 6- A provisional registration id and password will be sent to your email address.

Step 7- Log in with the registration id and password and complete the application form with relevant information.

Step 8- Upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Step 9- Click on Preview & Submit button, and you will be redirected to the Preview Application page.

Step 10- Click On Proceed to Payment button to complete your payment (if applicable).

• KSET Application Form.
•  Xerox copy of Post office Challan.
• 10th / SSLC Marks card is a must for verification of candidate name, parent’s name and Date of Birth.
• Category certificates of SC, ST, Cat-1, II A, II B, III A and III B. (only Karnataka candidates)
• PWD certificates [Medical Certificate with 40% or more disability]. Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates should attach the copy of Medical Certificate issued by District Civil Surgeon.
• Transgender candidates should submit Transgender Certificates obtained from District Magistrate.
• All Semesters / Year Masters Degree marks card.

KSET Application Form 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The Karnataka SET Notification 2023 Eligibility Criteria laid down as per the official notification including the educational qualification and age limit described below.

Karnataka SET Educational Qualification

• Education Qualification must be enrolled in Post Graduation courses or the candidates must have completed Master’s degree.
• Candidates from the General category must have scored 55% in their Master’s degree and Candidates from the reserved category must score a minimum of 50% in post-graduation.
• Candidates must appear for a similar subject as chosen in Post Graduation.

Karnataka SET Age Limit

•  The candidate must not be less than 21 years of age as of the date of notification.
• There is no upper age limit to apply for KSET.

Karnataka SET Exam Pattern 2023

We have detailed below the Karnataka SET Exam Pattern 2023 for the eligible candidates who are aspiring to get recruited as Assistant Professor in educational institutions and colleges within the state of Karnataka.

• Mode of Karnataka SET Exam 2023- Offline (OMR based).
• Karnataka SET Exam consists of only Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• There will be 2 Sessions for each of Paper I and Paper II.
• Paper I Shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. This paper is conducted to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
• Paper II Shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.

Karnataka SET 2023 Minimum Qualifying Percentage

Candidates to be qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professors shall be equal to 6% of the candidates who appeared in both the papers of KSET.
