KSET 2024 Application Fee

Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have a two-year postgraduate diploma or certificate awarded by an Indian university or institution or a foreign degree or diploma or certificate should get its equivalence verified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, before applying.

Age Limit

In KSET 2024, there is no age limit for candidates applying to take the Karnataka State Eligibility Test. This means individuals of all age groups are eligible to apply and appear for the examination, provided they meet the academic qualifications and other eligibility criteria specified by the conducting authorities.

Note:- Candidates who have passed the UGC-NET/CSIR JRF examination before 1989 are not eligible to apply KSET exam.

KSET Exam Pattern 2024

KSET 2024 will consist of two papers, both featuring objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper I questions will be general and designed to assess candidates’ teaching and research aptitude. It aims to evaluate reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. Note:- No candidate will be allowed to leave the KSET examination hall before 1:00 pm.
