The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is responsible for conducting the CAIIB Exam 2026. The Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers is a flagship course that is offered twice a year to improve the performance of employees of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. The CAIIB Exam is held twice a year, i.e., June – July and November- December sessions. For the Nov- Dec cycle, the CAIIB Exam Date 2026 has been announced officially. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 6th, 12th, 13th, 20th, and 27th December 2026.

CAIIB Exam Schedule 2026 for November – December Cycle

The Certified Associate of the Indian Institute (CAIIB) exam dates for the November- December cycle have been announced for 6th, 12th, 13th, 20th, and 27th December 2026. The CAIIB exam consists of 5 papers: Advanced Bank Management, Bank Financial Management, Advanced Business & Financial Management, Banking Regulations and Business Law, and Elective Papers. CAIIB Exam Pattern 2026

The Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers(CAIIB) exam consists of four compulsory papers i.e. Advanced Bank Management, Bank Financial Management, Advanced Business & Financial Management, and Banking Regulations and Business Laws. There are 5 elective papers out of which candidates have to choose any one of their choices. Elective subjects include- Rural Banking, Human Resources Management, Information Technology & Digital Banking, Risk Management, and Central Banking.
Each Paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

CAIIB 2026- Marking Scheme

The CAIIB Exam 2026 will be held for a total of 100 multiple-choice questions.  For each correct answer, 1 mark will be provided. There is no negative marking, so a candidate can attempt all the questions.

CAIIB 2026- Passing Criteria

• A minimum score of 50 out of 100 is required to pass each subject of CAIIB.
• Candidates who score a minimum of 45 marks in each subject and an overall aggregate of 50% in a single attempt will also be considered to have passed the examination.
