Bihar Technical Service Commission has initiated the recruitment process for BTSC Recruitment 2025 for Junior Engineer posts, for which the application process will begin soon at www.btsc.bihar.gov.in. Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) is going to recruit eligible candidates for 2747 vacancies of Junior Engineer (Non-Sanitary) for Civil/Mechanical/Electrical fields. The category-wise distribution will be notified through the BTSC JE Notification 2025.

Candidates must hold the required eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit.

Education Qualification

• Candidates must hold a 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) from a recognised institute or university.
• Higher qualifications like B.E./B. Tech may also be considered valid, but the minimum requirement is a Diploma.
• Final-year diploma students are usually not eligible unless they can present proof of qualification at the time of document verification.

BTSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern

• Computer-Based Exam consisting of 100 Questions.
• There will be two sections, i.e. Domain Knowledge and General Studies sections.
• The exam will be bilingual, i.e. in Hindi/English.
• Negative marking- 0.25 marks will be deducted.

BTSC JE Salary 2025

The selected candidates will be paid Rs 44,900 – Rs 1,42,400. The salary will be as per the Level 7 Pay Matrix. Besides this, the candidates will also be given various allowances and benefits. The Grade Pay for BTSC Junior Engineer posts is Rs. 4600/-. The basic pay of BTSC JE is Rs. 9300-34800/- as per the 7th CPC.
