RRB Paramedical Marking Scheme

The RRB Paramedical 2026 exam consists of 100 objective-type questions for a total of 100 marks. The correct marking scheme includes +1 mark for each correct answer and a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

• Total Marks: 100
• Correct Answer: +1 Mark
• Incorrect Answer: -0.25 Mark

How to Calculate Marks Using Official Answer Key?

Now Count:

• Total correct answers
• Total incorrect answer

Using the formula calculate your marks-

Marks = (Correct Answers × 1) − (Wrong Answers × 1/3)

Example: If Correct Answers are 80 and Wrong Answers are 30

Then, Marks from correct answers = 80 × 1 = 80 and Negative marks = 30 × 1/3 = 10

Final Score = 80 − 10 = 70 marks

Candidates can raise objections against the RRB Paramedical Answer Key till 29 March 2026 (10 AM) with a fee of Rs. 50 per question and necessary supporting proof. If your objection is accepted, the fee will be refunded. If it is rejected, no refund will be provided.

How to raise objections against the RRB Paramedical Answer Key?

Candidates can follow the below step-by-step process to raise objections to answer key of the RRB Paramedical Examination.

Importance of Railway Paramedical Answer Key 2026

• The answer key allows candidates to evaluate their performance and estimate their expected score before the final result is announced.
• Along with the answer key, candidates can download their individual response sheet, which includes questions attempted, selected responses, and correct answers.
• If candidates find discrepancies, they can raise objections by selecting the question(s) they want to challenge, uploading valid supporting documents, and paying Rs. 50/- per question. The fee is refunded if the objection is found valid; no refund is given for incorrect objections.
• Once the objection window closes, the Railway Recruitment Board reviews all challenges. If discrepancies are found, corrections are made and the final answer key is released. Based on the final answer key, the RRB Paramedical Result 2026 along with merit list is prepared.
• Each question carries 1 mark, and there is negative marking of ⅓ mark for each wrong answer. By comparing responses with the answer key, candidates can determine their tentative score by subtracting one-third of incorrect answers from the total correct answers.
• Candidates who qualify in the CBT are shortlisted for the next stage, which includes document verification and a medical examination.

What After Railway Paramedical Answer Key 2026?

After the release of the official answer key, the candidates can raise objections till 29th March 2026, calculate their probable scores, and wait for the Final Answer Key and CBT Result. Successful candidates will then be called for Document Verification (DV) and a Medical Examination.
