BPSC Teacher Vacancy 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the Bihar Special Teacher Exam 2025 must ensure they fulfill the required eligibility criteria for the posts (Primary Teacher or Upper Primary Teacher) they are applying for. The candidate’s eligibility will be determined in terms of educational qualification and age limit, which are explained below.
Educational Qualification For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5)
- Candidates have at least 50% marks in their 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent exam.
- Candidates must have a valid CRR number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Candidates must have completed D.El.Ed. in Special Education from an institution recognized by the RCI OR
- Must have a Diploma in Special Education or an equivalent qualification from an RCI-recognized institute, along with a valid CRR number OR
- Must have completed six months of special training in cross-disability OR
- Must have qualified for BSSTET Paper I under the Special School Teacher Eligibility Test, 2023.
Educational Qualification For Upper- Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8)
- Must have a Graduation degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- Must have a valid CRR number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Must have a B.Ed. in Special Education from an institution recognized by the RCI OR
- Must have a Certificate or Diploma in Special Education along with B.Ed., which is treated as equal to a B.Ed. in Special Education by the RCI, and have a valid CRR number OR
- Must have completed six months of special training in the field of cross-disability OR
- Must have passed BSSTET Paper I under the Special School Teacher Eligibility Test, 2023.
