Bihar Police SI Prohibition Mains Exam Pattern

Once the candidate clears the preliminary exam, they are called for the main written exam. The Mains exam is subjective in nature and requires writing detailed answers from subjects like General Hindi and General Studies, aka GS. The GS subjects include Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Maths, and Mental Ability Test. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2, which have 100 questions each, while the total marks allotted are 200 for each subject.

Bihar SI Physical Test 2026

The Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Measurement or Efficiency Test (PET/PMT), which measure the height, chest, and weight of male and female candidates, will be held for those who pass the prelims and mains. There will be no marks awarded for this round because the physical standard test is qualifying in nature. Those who don’t meet the requirements will not be allowed to continue with the hiring process.
