UPSSSC PET Exam Date 2026 Out, Check Official Schedule Notice

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has published the UPSSSC PET Exam Date 2026 Notice on 9th September 2026 for the candidates who have applied for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET)-2026. According to the latest official notice, the UPSSSC PET 2026 Exam is to be held from 23rd to 25th October 2026. The eligibility test will be conducted in two shifts each day.

The official notification has been released under Advertisement No. 16-Exam/2026. The candidates preparing for the exam should mark these dates on their calendar and continue preparing accordingly. With the exam date out, candidates need to focus on revision and mock tests.

UPSSSC PET Exam Date 2026 Out

The UPSSSC has decided to conduct the PET-2026 written examination on three consecutive days on 23rd, 24th and 25th October 2026. The exam will be conducted every day in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, while the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The exact shift, exam centre and reporting time allotted to each candidate will be mentioned on their admit card.

What Should Candidates Do After the PET Exam Date Is Announced?

Now that the exam dates are confirmed, candidates should not wait for the admit card to start serious preparation. The remaining time should be used wisely.

• Complete the Remaining Syllabus: First, the candidates should check whether all the topics mentioned in the PET syllabus have been covered. Pay special attention to subjects on which you still make mistakes.
• Regular Revision : It’s very important for PET preparation. Make short notes of important facts, formulae, current affairs and other topics which need to be revised frequently.
• By solving the previous year papers, the candidates can get an idea about the type and level of questions asked in the examination. Attempt the papers within the time limit prescribed.
• Give Mock Tests : Candidates should give full length mock tests regularly. After each test go through the wrong questions and see why you got them wrong.
• Improve your time management: Since the paper has to be finished within the given time, candidates should practise answering questions quickly and accurately. If you spend too much time on one hard question, skip it.
