RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2026 (3rd August Shift 1), Good Attempts & Exam Review

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the CBT exam for RRB Group D CEN 09/2025, and today is the 1st day of the exam. In the first shift (9 am to 10:30 am), thousands of candidates appeared, and after the exam, candidates reviewed that “Exam was of Easy to Moderate level with some questions time taking”. Based on the difficulty level and safe score, candidates with upcoming exams can get an idea of what may be asked in their shifts. The CBT 1 Exam is scheduled to be held over 16 days, from 3rd to 25th August 2026, with a total of 48 shifts (3 each day). There were a total of 100 questions asked in the exam from the following sections:

  • General Science – 25 questions for 25 marks
  • Mathematics- 25 questions for 25 marks
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30 questions for 30 marks
  • General Awareness and Current Affairs – 20 questions for 20 marks

In the RRB Group D computer-based exam, candidates are required to answer 100 questions within a time limit of 1.5 hours (90 minutes). Since there is no sectional timing, candidates can manage their time effectively by quickly completing the sections they find easier and then dedicating more time to the sections they find more challenging.
