How to Download AP SET Exam Answer Key 2026?

The candidates who appeared in the eligibility test, can follow the steps discussed below to download the official answer key.

1. Candidates have to visit the official website of Andhra Pradesh University, Vishakhapatnam, https://apset.net.in.
2. On the homepage of the website, click on the link that reads “Candidate Responses Sheet and Master Question Paper Release”.
3. Now, click on the paper-wise answer key links displayed on the screen.
4. After clicking on this respective link, the answer key for the APSET exam opened.
5. Candidates now have to click on the ‘download’ button and save this PDF on their device.
6. Download and save the answer key PDF for future reference.

Andhra Pradesh AP SET Answer Key 2026 Download Link

The official AP SET Answer Key for both Paper 1 (General Paper) and Paper 2 (subject-specific paper) will be released on 16th April 2026 (10:30 am). Candidates who have appeared for the AP SET Exam can refer to the preliminary answer key to verify their responses and estimate their scores in the examination before the final results are announced.

How to Calculate Marks Using AP SET Exam 2026?

With the help of this APSET answer key, candidates can calculate the marks to be obtained in the exam.

• There are 150 MCQ questions in the paper
• One mark is allotted for a correct answer
• There will be no negative marking

Use this simple formula:

Total Marks = Number of Correct Answers × 2

Example-

Paper 1: Correct = 40

Marks = 40 × 2 = 80

Paper 2: Correct = 70

Marks = 70 × 2 = 140

Total Score: 80 + 140 = 220

Since there is no negative marking, there for the double of the answers attempted is the marks to be secured.

Raise Objection Process

Candidates have the option to challenge the official answer key for any discrepancy in the answer key. The answer key challenge window will be open from 16th to 18th April 2026. To challenge the official answer key, candidates have to visit the official website of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and submit their objections with a pay a fee of Rs. 200/- per question.

Candidates can follow the below step-by-step process to challenge the APSET Answer Key. 

1. Visit the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam official website, i.e. https://apset.net.in
2. On the homepage tab, on the link that reads “The objection window is available for candidates to submit their objections against the preliminary key.”
3. AP SET Answer Key, along with the correct response, appears on the screen.
4. Review the Master Question Paper and preliminary answer key and raise objections.
5. Click “Click Here to Challenge Question” for the specific question you wish to challenge.
6. Choose the Questions, explain the issue in the text box, and upload supporting scanned documents
7. Pay an objection fee of Rs. 200/- per question
8. Submit an objection on or before 18th April 2026 (12 pm)
