How to Calculate Marks Using AP SET Exam 2026?

With the help of this APSET answer key, candidates can calculate the marks to be obtained in the exam.

• There are 150 MCQ questions in the paper
• One mark is allotted for a correct answer
• There will be no negative marking

Use this simple formula:

Total Marks = Number of Correct Answers × 2

Example-

Paper 1: Correct = 40

Marks = 40 × 2 = 80

Paper 2: Correct = 70

Marks = 70 × 2 = 140

Total Score: 80 + 140 = 220

Since there is no negative marking, therefore the double of the answers attempted is the number of marks to be secured.

Raise Objection Process

Candidates have the option to challenge the official answer key for any discrepancy in the answer key. The answer key challenge window will be open from 16th to 18th April 2026. To challenge the official answer key, candidates have to visit the official website of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, and submit their objections for a fee of Rs. 200/- per question.

1. Visit the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam official website, i.e. https://apset.net.in
2. On the homepage tab, on the link that reads “The objection window is available for candidates to submit their objections against the preliminary key.”
3. AP SET Answer Key, along with the correct response, appears on the screen.
4. Review the Master Question Paper and preliminary answer key and raise objections.
5. Click “Click Here to Challenge Question” for the specific question you wish to challenge.
6. Choose the Questions, explain the issue in the text box, and upload supporting scanned documents
7. Pay an objection fee of Rs. 200/- per question
8. Submit an objection on or before 18th April 2026 (12 pm)
