India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026 Out, 10963 Candidates Selected, Circle-wise PDFs

Finally, the wait is over for the GDS 2nd Merit List. As India Post has released the GDS 2nd merit list PDF on 10th April 2026 for all circles and states on the official website www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in, and the candidates can now check their selection status using their 7-digit registration number or name. A total of 10963 candidates were selected in the 2nd merit list. Along with the names of shortlisted candidates, the document verification schedule is also released.

India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026 Out

The officials have released the 2nd merit list PDF for the candidates who applied for the 28,636 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts under the Online Engagement Schedule-I, January 2026, and were not selected in the first merit list. The recruitment is merit-based, meaning no written exam is conducted, and candidates are shortlisted based on their Class 10 marks.

As per 2nd merit list pdfs, 10,963 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for document verification round which will be conducted before 27th April 2026. The GDS 2nd Merit list is not released for Assam, Kerala, Tamilnadu, and West Bengal, for rest of the states pdfs are shared below.

The circle-wise PDF links for the GDS 2nd Merit List 2026 have been uploaded on the official portal https://indiapost.gov.in/gdsonlineengagement.

1. Visit the official website https://indiapost.gov.in/gdsonlineengagement on your internet browser.
2. Click on “GDS Online Engagement” >> Select “Schedule-I January 2026”
3. Click on your respective postal circle, then click on “Supplementary List – II”.
4. The circle-wise PDF open in a new tab. Since these files can be very large, use Ctrl + F (Find) and type your 7-digit Registration Number to search your name.

My name is not the 2nd merit list pdf, will India post release 3rd merit list also?
There are chances that 3rd merit list pdf or further supplementary lists can be released but only if posts remain vacanct after DV.

Candidates shortlisted in the 2nd merit list must:

• Attend Document Verification (DV)
• Carry original documents

Failure to complete document verification may result in cancellation of candidature.
