UPSSSC Lower PCS Notification 2026 Out for 2285 Vacancies, Application Dates & Eligibility

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially released the Lower PCS Notification (Advertisement No. 07-Exam/2026) for the Combined Lower Subordinate Services (Graduate Level) Main Examination 2026. The official notification PDF has been released on 30th March 2026, and online applications will begin from 29th May 2026.

UPSSSC Lower PCS Notification 2026 Out

The selection will be based on a Written Main Examination (Likhit Pariksha) consisting of a single paper of 100 objective-type, multiple-choice questions to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes). The candidates must be UP PET 2025 qualified and only these candidates can apply for the vacancies.

How to Apply for UPSSSC Lower PCS Recruitment 2026?

Applications must be submitted online only through the official UPSSSC website at upsssc.gov.in. No offline applications will be entertained. The step-by-step process is as follows:

Step 1: Login: Candidates must log in using their PET-2025 Registration Number via OTP sent to their registered mobile number or email.

Step 2: Fill Application: Personal details registered during PET-2025 will be auto-populated. Candidates must select the posts they wish to apply for and provide educational qualification details.

Step 3: Photo & Signature: The photo and signature uploaded during PET-2025 will be auto-displayed and cannot be changed.

Step 4: Fee Payment & Submission: After completing the declaration section and paying the fee, the application will be auto-submitted. Candidates must download and print their application form.

Step 5: Application Modification: After final submission, candidates can make limited modifications (such as correspondence address, EWS/horizontal reservation category, marital status) till 18 June 2026 through the Applicant’s Dashboard.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for UPSSSC Lower PCS Examination must be between 21 and 40 years. For Center In-Charge posts, the age of candidates should be 18 to 40 years.

UPSSSC Lower PCS Exam Pattern 2026

  • The questions of the examination will be objective and multiple-choice type.
  • UPSSSC Lower PCS exam consists of 100 MCQ-based questions.
  • Each question will be worth 1 mark.
  • There is negative marking for each wrong answer; 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
