PSSSB Steno Typist Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who will be applying for the PSSSB Steno Typist Recruitment 2026 must make sure they fulfill the required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution. The other qualifications are mentioned below.
• Qualify Punjabi Stenography Test conducted by the Board or appointing authority at a speed prescribed by the Punjab Government.
• Have completed at least 120 hours of Computer/IT training with hands-on experience in: Office Productivity applications OR Desktop Publishing from a Government-recognised or ISO 9001-certified institution, OR Possess a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate of DOEACC (NIELIT), Government of India.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 37 years to be eligible to apply for the post of Steno Typist. The age relaxation in the upper age limit of reserved category candidates will also be provided.
