2. Log In: Access your personal dashboard using your unique User ID and Password created during OTR.

4. Fill the Online Application: The OTR details will be pre-filled in the application form. Carefully fill in all the required particulars, ensuring all claims regarding age, educational qualification (B.L. degree), and minimum 5 years of active criminal court practice are accurate.
5. Upload Documents: Upload fresh scanned images of your passport-size photograph and signature, following the specified guidelines. You may also need to upload other specified documents like your Bar Council enrollment certificate and practice certificate at this stage or during a later certificate verification round.
6. Pay Examination Fee: Pay the preliminary examination fee of ₹100 through online modes (Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card). Candidates eligible for fee concession should claim it at this stage. Note that the OTR fee is separate from the examination fee. The Main Written Examination fee (₹200) will be collected later from candidates who qualify for that stage.
7. Review and Submit: Check all the details in the application form carefully before final submission, as no modifications will be allowed after submission.

• The Preliminary Exam consists of a single objective-type paper conducted in OMR mode.
• The paper includes three main subjects: General Studies, Aptitude & Mental Ability Test, and Law.
• The total duration of the exam is 3 Hours, carrying a maximum of 300 marks.
• The minimum qualifying marks are: (i) 120 marks for candidates belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCMs), and BCMs
  (ii) 90 marks for others
• The question paper will be available in Tamil and English.

TNPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor Mains Exam Pattern 2025

• The Main Exam consists of four descriptive papers, each of 3 hours duration.
• Papers include Tamil Eligibility Test, Law Papers I, II, III, and IV.
• Each paper carries 100 marks, and the Interview carries 60 marks, making the combined total 460 marks.
• Minimum qualifying marks for the Main Exam + Interview: (i) 120 marks for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCMs), BCMs
