Candidates must have a B.Sc. Nursing degree or a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council to apply for DRRMLIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025. The selection for the Non-Teaching Posts of Nursing Officer (Group “B”) will be done through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which includes a Screening Exam and a Mains Exam.

Educational Requirements

To apply for the RML Nursing Officer post, candidates must fulfill one of the following qualifications:

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing OR
• Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Post Certificate) (from an institute or university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council)

AND

• Must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council OR
• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) (from an INC-recognized institute/board)
• Must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council

Additional Requirement:

• Must have 2 years of work experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds after completing the qualification.

The minimum age for a nursing officer is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years.

The selection process for Nursing Officer consists of two stages (Screening Test and Main Exam), both conducted in bilingual mode (Hindi and English).

• Screening Test: Candidates who pass the screening test will be called for the Mains exam
• Main Exam: The final selection is based only on the marks obtained in the main exam.

Exams will be conducted in bilingual mode (Hindi & English) through a computer-based test.

• Both the Screening and Main exams will have the same syllabus.
• The duration of each exam (Screening and Mains) is 2 hours.

The pay for the Staff Nurse falls under Level-7 in the pay band of Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800 with a Grade Pay (GP) of Rs. 4600. The basic pay admissible at the minimum of this pay scale/level is Rs. 44900, along with other allowances as applicable.
