Indian Bank Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
Before applying for the Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates must check the eligibility criteria to ensure that they fulfill the criteria as specified by the officials. Nationality
A candidate must be either –
- Citizens of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently
settling in India or - a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates should have completed & have a passing certificate for their graduation on or after 1st April 2021.
Age Limit (As on 1/07/2025)
To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum age of 28 years as on 1st July 2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD, etc., as per the Government of India guidelines, is applicable.

Indian Bank Apprentice Salary 2025
During this 12-month period, apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend. The stipend amount varies depending on the branch location where the apprentice is posted. In Metro and Urban Branches, the Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000, and in Rural and Semi-Urban Branches, Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,000. For Metro and Urban branches, the stipend comprises Rs. 10,500 from the bank and Rs. 4,500 from the government. For Rural and Semi-Urban branches, the bank contributes Rs. 7,500 and the government contributes Rs. 4,500.
