REET Mains Exam Date 2025 Out

As mentioned in the REET Notification 2025, the REET Mains Exam Date 2025 for Level 1 and Level 2 is scheduled from 17th to 21st January 2026. The exam will be held in offline mode, consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions for a total of 300 marks. Eligibility Criteria for REET Mains Exam 2025

Not everyone can appear for the REET Mains Exam 2025, as the commission has set parameters for minimum eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications, age limit. The REET Mains Eligibility Criteria are shared below as per the detailed REET Notification 2025.

Level 1 Educational Qualification (Class 1 to 5)

Candidates must have passed the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (R.E.E.T.) in the subject for which they are applying and hold the education qualification as tabulated below in the table.

  • Shastri (Or its equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination) and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (AND)

Primary School Teacher General Education

To apply for the REET Mains Exam 2025, candidates can follow these steps:

REET Mains Selection Process 2025

All the candidates who want to be recruited for Level 1 (Primary) and Level 2 (Upper Primary) Teacher posts in the state have to undergo the REET Mains Selection Process as part of the REET Mains Recruitment exam. The REET Mains selection process includes the following stages.

  1. Written Examination– Candidates must appear for the REET Mains exam, which is conducted for Level 1 (Classes 1-5) and Level 2 (Classes 6-8). The exam carries objective multiple-choice questions with negative marking.
  2. Merit List Preparation- Based on the marks obtained in the written exam, a merit list is prepared for each level and category.
  3. Document Verification Process- Shortlisted candidates from the merit list are called for document verification to authenticate eligibility, caste/category certificates, educational qualifications, and other relevant documents.
  4. Final Selection: After successful document verification, candidates are selected for appointment as teachers in Rajasthan’s elementary schools as per the available vacancies.

REET Primary/ Upper Primary Teacher Salary 2025

Candidates selected for Primary/ Upper Primary Teacher posts will have to serve 02 years of the probationary trainee period. After the success of the probationary period, candidates have been offered ge monthly salary as per Pay Level 10 as per the regular 7th Pay Commission. Along with a monthly salary, candidates will be offered other allowances like house rent allowance, dearness allowance, urban compensation allowance, special pay etc.
