CTET Exam Date 2026 Out, Check CTET September Session Exam Schedule

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the exam date for the 22nd Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), along with its notification PDF on 11th May 2026. CTET Exam 2026 for Papers 1 and 2 is scheduled for 6th September 2026 (Sunday). In case the number of applicants is more, the exam can also be conducted on 5th September 2026. Candidates are advised to keep preparing with focus and dedication so that they are ready to perform their best on the exam.

CTET September Exam Date 2026 Out

CTET Exam for all those candidates who will apply for the CTET September Cycle will be conducted on 6th September 2026, for which the admit card will be released 2 days before i.e. on 4th September 2026. CTET Exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8. The exam includes questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

CBSE CTET Exam Schedule 2026

CTET 2026 (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is a national-level eligibility test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching careers in central government schools such as KVS, NVS, and other institutions under the Government of India.

CBSE CTET September Exam 2026- Shift Timings

CTET Paper 2 and 1 exams will be conducted on a day in the morning and evening shifts. Candidates should reach the exam centre well before the exam time to complete all exam formalities on time.

CTET 2026 Admit Card

As per the official CTET Notification, the CTET Hall Ticket will be released 2 days before the exam date i.e., 2nd September 2026. Hall Ticket with exam date, timing, venue, reporting timing, etc will be made avaiable at the official website www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates will be required to provide their login details to download their respective hall ticket.
