CTET Admit Card 2026, Expected in February 1st week

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam date for the 21st Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (February 2026 cycle), along with the release of the notification PDF. CTET exam for Paper I and II will be held on 8th February 2026 for all those candidates sucessfully registered for the exam. The CTET Admit Card 2026 will be released 2 days before the exam date on the official website https://ctet.nic.in/. CTET Admit Card 2026

The CTET 2026 exam is a national-level exam conducted to assess the candidates’ eligibility for Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5) and Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8) posts in Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, and others. CTET Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8 will be conducted in the first shift (9:30 am to 12 noon), while Paper 1 for classes 1 to 5 will take place in the second shift (2:30 pm to 5 pm). Further details regarding the exam centre address and reporting time are to be notified through the CTET Admit Card 2026.  

CTET Admit Card 2026 Release Date

Before the release of the admit card, the CBSE will release the CTET pre-admit cards, allowing candidates to access their exam city slips now. CTET Admit Card 2026 will be released for all those candidates who will sucessfully register for the exam. All details regarding the exam, such as exam venue, timing, reporting timing etc, will be mentioned in the CTET admit card.

Candidates must note that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is not responsible for sending admit cards through mail or SMS; candidates have to download them from the official website https://ctet.nic.in/ after release. Though the link to download will be active till the exam date, candidates are advised to download it beforehand to avoid any last-minute rush or internet server issues.

The complete schedule from entry into the exam hall to exam commencement has already been notified by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The candidates must follow the schedule carefully, and for reference, the same is also discussed below. 

How to Download CTET Admit Card 2026?

To download the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Admit Card for 2026, follow these steps:

1. Go to the official CTET website: www.ctet.nic.in.
2. On the homepage, find and click on the link labelled “Download Admit Card for CTET 2026”.
3. Enter the following details on the login page: Application Number and Password or Date of Birth (DOB).
4. Fill in the Security PIN/Code (as shown on the page).
5. After successfully logging in, your CTET admit card is displayed on the screen.
6. Carefully check all the information on the admit card.
7. Click on the download button to save the admit card. Print multiple copies for future reference and exam day.

If any details on the admit card are incorrect, report them immediately to the CTET authorities via the official contact details.
