Steps to Check TNPSC Field Assistant Result 2025

Candidates who appeared in the Combined Technical Services Examination (ITI Level) for 1794 Field Assistant posts can check their roll numbers by following these simple steps-

  1. Visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, www.tnpsc.gov.in
  2. Click on the link “Latest Result” Tab on the left side of the screen.
  3. Find and click on the notification number 13/2025 “Combined Technical Services Examination (ITI Level)”
  4. Click on the list dated and check your roll numbers.
  5. Candidates can also check their marks and rank from the link mentioned on the right side of home page.

What Happens After the TNPSC Field Assistant Result?

  1. Physical Certificate Verification (PCV): Shortlisted candidates will be called to upload their original documents (ITI Certificate, Community Certificate, PSTM if applicable) to the TNPSC portal.
  2. Selection List: After verification, a final selection list based on rank and communal rotation will be published.
  3. Counselling: Candidates will be invited for a counselling session to choose their preferred zones/units based on their rank.

TNPSC Field Assistant Selection Process & Evaluation Criteria

The selection is based solely on the marks obtained in the written examination, provided the candidate passes the mandatory qualifying paper.

1. Marking Scheme

  • Paper I (Part A): Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard). Candidates must score a minimum of 60 marks (40%) to have their other papers evaluated.
  • Paper I (Part B & C) + Paper II: These sections (Total 450 marks) determine the final ranking.

2. Minimum Qualifying Marks

To be considered for the merit list, candidates must achieve the following aggregate marks:

  • SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, and BCMs: 135 Marks
  • Others: 180 Marks
