BPSSC Forest Range Officer Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the post of Forest Range Officer is divided into multiple stages, such as a written test, an interview round, a Physical efficiency test and a medical examination. Candidates have to qualify each stage of the selection process to join as the BPSSC Forest Range Officer in Bihar. The commission will select 6 times more candidates than the vacancy, and they will be invited for the interview round.

BPSSC Forest Range Officer Exam Pattern 2025

• BPSSC Forest Range Officer Exam contains two papers: Paper I and Paper II.
• Paper I consists of 50 multiple-choice questions on the General Hindi subject for 100 marks.
• Paper II consists of 100 multiple-choice questions on General Science, General Knowledge subjects, Mathematics and a mental ability test for 300 marks.
• Paper I will carry 2 marks for a correct answer, and Paper II will carry 3 marks for each correct answer.
• There will be a deduction of marks with every wrong answer: Paper I have negative marking of 0.22 marks and Paper II has negative marking of 0.33 Marks.

BPSSC Forest Range Officer Salary Structure 2025

The Candidates who will be selected for the position of Forest Range Officer will get the initial Salary of Rs. 35,400 per month and a maximum salary of Rs. 1,12,400 according to the 7th pay commission. Apart from the basic salary, candidates will get other extra allowances and benefits, such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Transport Aid (CTA) and other benefits.
