A total of 83 vacancies have been announced through WBPDCL Recruitment 2025 for Assistant Mines Manager, Welfare Officer, Colliery Engineer, Junior Engineer, and Surveyer. Assistant Mines Manager

Welfare Officer

• Qualification: PG Degree/Diploma in HR, IR, Personnel Management, or MSW with HR
• Experience: Preferred in coal mines/industrial sector

Colliery Engineer

• Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 1–10 years (mines experience required)

Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

• Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 5 years (3 years in coal mines)

Junior Engineer (Electrical)

• Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 5 years (3 years in coal mines)

Surveyor

• Qualification: Diploma in Mining Survey + DGMS Surveyor Certificate
• Experience: 1–5 years in mines (after DGMS certification)

Age Criteria (as on 1/9/2025)

• The maximum age limit is 32 years for Unreserved (UR) category candidates.
• Age Relaxation is available as per government rules as mentioned below:

1. SC/ST: 5 years
2. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
3. PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): 10 years
4. Exempted Category (EC) & Ex-Servicemen: Up to 45 years

• Employees of WBPDCL or those working with its Contractors/Mine Developer & Operator (MDO) can also get age relaxation up to 45 years.
• Candidates who take age relaxation under SC/ST/OBC/PwBD may still be considered under UR category based on merit.
