The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially released the answer key for Trained Graduate Teacher (Advt 01/2022) on its official website, www.upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates who appeared in the written examination can now download their response sheets and answer keys online using their login credentials.

Along with the provisional answer key, the commission has also opened the objection submission window, giving candidates the opportunity to challenge any response they believe is incorrect before 12th June 2026 (12 midnight). Around 8 lakh candidates have appeared in the exam for 15 subjects.

Follow the steps given below to download the provisional UP TGT Answer Key 2026 from the official website:

Visit the official UPESSC website at upessc.up.gov.in.
On the homepage, look for the link titled “UP TGT Recruitment Exam 2026 Provisional Answer Key” under the Notice Board section.
Click on the link labeled “Provisional Answer Key for Advt 01/2022 (UP TGT Exam June 2026).” A list of all subjects will appear on the screen; select your specific subject (e.g., Mathematics, Science, Hindi, English).
Enter login credentials such as Roll Number and Date of Birth. The recorded responses and provisional answer key will appear on the screen.
Download the answer key PDF and match it against your OMR responses to calculate your expected score.

Marks per Correct Answer: 4 Marks

How to Calculate Your Score?

In the UP TGT exam, each correct answer is awarded 4 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Use the formula below: School Portal

Total Score = Number of Correct Answers × 4

For example, if you attempted 110 questions correctly: 110 × 4 = 440 marks.

Since there is no negative marking, it was in every candidate’s interest to attempt all 125 questions.
