Step 2 – Under the What’s New section of the homepage tab, on the link that reads “Marks of Recommended Candidates: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025”.

What Next After UPSC Marksheet 2026?

  1. Service Allocation by DoPT – After the UPSC Final Result is published, selected candidates are recommended to the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) for service allocation based on their All India Rank and on a merit-cum-preference basis. This is where candidates are assigned to IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, or other Group A & B Central Services.
  2. Document Verification – After the final result, candidates undergo document verification to confirm eligibility, category certificates, educational qualifications, and identity.
  3. Medical Examination – Candidates go through a medical examination to ensure they meet the physical and health standards required for their allotted service.
  4. Foundation Course & Academy Training – Once cleared, candidates are sent for training at their respective academies. IAS officers go to Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, IPS to SVPNPA in Hyderabad, and IFS to IGNFA in Dehradun
