The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has released the notification on 3rd July 2025 for the recruitment of Agriculture Officer, TAFS, Gr-I, under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Tripura. Tripura PSC Agriculture Officer Recruitment 2025 Summary

Candidates applying for the TPSC AO Recruitment 2025 must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized university. The upper age limit for the post is 40 years. The selection process consists of a written exam followed by an interview. After selection, agricultural officers will be appointed as regular Group B gazetted officers with a pay scale of Rs. 10230 to Rs. 34,800. Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has released the Agriculture Officer Recruitment 2025 notification on 3rd July 2025. As per the schedule, the online application process will start on 24th July 2025. The last date to submit the online application is 20th August 2025. TPSC Agriculture Officer Eligibility 2025

The online application link to apply for the TPSC AO Recruitment 2025 will activate on 24th July 2025 on the official website, www.tpsc.tripura.gov.in. Tripura PSC AO Application Fee 2025

Candidates belonging to the General category have to pay an application fee of Rs. 350. While candidates from SC/ST categories, BPL card holders, and physically handicapped candidates have to submit Rs. 250.

Tripura PSC Agriculture Officer Selection Process

The Selection process for the Agriculture Officer consists of two stages

• Written Exam
• Interview

The merit list will be prepared using the 100-point roster system, as per Government of Tripura rules. The final merit list will be prepared by adding marks from the written exam and the interview.

TPSC AO Exam Pattern 2025

The exam pattern for the Agricultural Officer is as follows:

• The Written Exam will have 180 Objective Type questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each.
• For every incorrect attempt, 0.25 marks will be subtracted
• The Duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes).

Candidates who qualify for the written test must appear for the Interview/Personality Test for 20 marks.

Tripura PSC Agriculture Officer Salary 2025

Appointed Agricultural officer will get pay scale ranges from Rs. 10230 to Rs. 34800, with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800, under Pay Level 13. In addition to this, they will get extra perks and allowances as per the commission.
