The RPSC AE Recruitment 2024 has been initiated for a total of 1014 Assistant Engineer posts. The selection of candidates for the AE post under pay level -14 involves the Prelims Written Exam, Mains Written Exam, and Interview.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released the RPSC AE Exam Date 2024 for the prelims exam i.e. 28th September 2025. Those who have registered for Assistant Engineer posts will now have to appear for the RPSC AE Prelims Exam 2024 which is to be conducted for a total of 400 marks.

RPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

The candidate must have to pay the required application fee to complete their registration. Candidates from the general category/ BC (CL) / EBC (CL) have to pay Rs. 600/- and candidates from other categories have to pay Rs. 400/-. The payment of the application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards BHIM, UPI etc.

RPSC AE Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must ensure that they meet the specific eligibility criteria. The commission has set parameters for minimum eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications, and age limits. Educational Qualification

All interested candidates must possess BE/B. Tech degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical disciplines from a recognized University/Institute to apply for RPSC AE Recruitment 2024.

RPSC Assistant Engineer Exam Pattern 2024

To appear in the RPSC AE exam, candidates must be well aware of the marking scheme, number of questions, exam duration, etc. This exam is conducted in three stages i.e. prelims and mains and interviews, so candidates must refer to the exam pattern for both these examinations.

RPSC AE Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

• The RPSC AE prelims exam consists of 02 papers. Paper 1 for compulsory subjects and paper 2 for optional subjects.
• Questions will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions for a total of 400 marks.
• The time duration for each paper is 02 hours.

RPSC AE Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The written examination will consist of 4 papers which will be conventional type. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory subjects and Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be asked from optional subjects (Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering). The time allowed for each paper shall be three hours.
