RPF Constable Eligibility 2024, Qualification, Age Limit and Physical Requirements

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) has decided to recruit candidates for 4208 vacancies for Constable posts in the Railway Police Force (RPF). Those who want to work in the Indian railway police department as a constable must check the required age limit, educational qualifications and physical requirements like Height and chest size before applying for the respective posts as the official notification provides. The candidates will need to provide proof of their eligibility through a certificate of their educational qualifications and identity proof for the age limit at the document verification stage.

RPF Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024

Every candidate is required to fulfill all the eligibility parameters set by the Railway Police Force to apply online for RPF Constable Recruitment 2024. Any candidate who fails to meet the RPF Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024 will directly be disqualified and the application form of that particular candidate will be rejected. Candidates are also advised to provide only correct information about their eligibility if any candidate provides false information in the application form then the exam conducting authority will take strict action against him/her. The parameters required to fulfill the RPF Constable eligibility decided by the Railway Board are as follows:-

• Age Limit – 18 to 28 Years
• Educational Qualification – 10th Pass
• Physical Standards – Height and Chest Measurements
• Medical/Standards

RPF Constable Age Limit

For the posts of RPF Constable, candidates must be a minimum of 18 years and should not be more than 28 years as on 1st July 2024. The candidates must remember to enter their correct date of birth in the application form as provided in their SSLC/Matriculation or an equivalent certificate.

RPF Constable Age Relaxations

Candidates belonging to special reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC or others, get age relaxation in the upper age limit for the posts of RPF Constable, the candidates need to provide their reserved category certificate as proof.

RPF Constable Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the posts of RPF Constable must have completed at least 10th class or matriculation/SSLC or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized university or board. The candidates must provide their matriculation certificate to prove their eligibility for the educational parameter. Any candidate whose result for the matriculation final examination has not been announced till the specified date, he/she must not apply.

RPF Constable Medical Standards

The candidates applying for the post of Constable must be medically fit as per the medical standards set by the Railway Police Force, only the candidates fulfilling the prescribed medical standards will be shortlisted for the document verification round. The medical examination of the candidate will be conducted by the Medical Authority of the recruitment board. Candidates who wear glasses or those having color blindness, knock knees, squint eyes, flat feet, and some other body infirmities are not eligible for RPF posts.

RPF Constable Physical Standards 2024

The physical measurements of the candidates will be evaluated as per the set criteria including height and chest measurements for RPF Constable posts, the chest measurements will only be evaluated only for the male candidates. The category-wise height and chest measurements are provided in the table below.
