RPF Constable Application Fee

To complete the RPF Constable application forms candidates have to pay an application fee and it is Rs. 500/- for General and OBC categories and for others it is Rs. 250/-. Fee will be paid online mode only through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI. Candidates who attend CBT are eligible for a refund of their examination fee.

RPF Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The candidates who want to get selected for the posts of RPF Constable must undergo a selection process involving three main stages specified by the official authorities. Candidates first have to pass a computer-based test, selected candidates will appear for a physical measurement test, and finally, the candidates selected after the previous stage will have to appear with their valid documents for the document verification stage.

Stage I: Computer-Based Test- The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will conduct the Computer Test to shortlist candidates for further stages of this recruitment process: Physical test. In CBT exam questions will be of objective type with multiple choice answers and consist of the topics from arithmetic, general intelligence and reasoning, and general awareness.

Stage II: Physical Measurement Test- Qualified candidates in the CBT exam will be called for a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). A 10 times the total number of vacancies in each category for Male/Female/Ex-Servicemen will be called for the PT exam. Ex-servicemen will be exempted from the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) however, they will still have to undergo a Physical Measurement Test (PMT). PET/PMT is qualifying in nature. No marks are to be awarded.

Stage III: Document Verification- Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET & PMT, candidates shall be considered for Document Verification.

RPF Constable Exam Pattern 2024

• The first stage of the written exam will be conducted in a computer-based exam.
• A total of 120 multiple-choice questions will be asked.
• The time duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
• For each correct answer, a 01 mark will be rewarded.
• There shall be negative marking 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

RPF Constable Cut Off 2024

The RPF Constable Cut Off 2024 will be released and will be published online by the exam authority after the RPF Constable Computer-Based Test. Separate category-wise and subject-wise merit lists will be drawn for the students successfully securing the cut off marks.
