Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) has released the PSTCL ALM Syllabus 2025 along with the exam pattern in its official notification. PSTCL ALM Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025

PSTCL has announced a total of 129 vacancies for Assistant Lineman (ALM) under PSTCL Recruitment 2025. To clear the examination, candidates must cover these subjects, Punjabi Language, General Knowledge/Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General English. Candidates must understand all the topics mentioned in the PSTCL ALM Syllabus and plan a study timetable according to the exam pattern and section-wise weightage.

PSTCL Assistant Lineman Exam Pattern 2025

The selection process for ALM consists of two stages. The first stage is a Computer-Based Test (CBT,) and those who successfully clear the CBT will move to the second stage, Document Verification. The CBT examination scheme is as follows:

Part I: Punjabi Language Test

• Total Questions: 50 MCQs
• Marks per Question: 1 mark
• Total Marks: 50 marks
• Qualification: Need at least 25 marks (50%) to pass
• Negative Marking: No negative marking

Candidates must pass Part I to be eligible for Part II

Part II: Technical, Punjabi, GK, Reasoning, and English

• Questions: 100 MCQs
• Marks per Question: 1 mark
• Marks: 100 marks
• Negative Marking: 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong answer
• Merit List: Prepared only on the basis of Part II marks
