OTET Exam Date 2024 Out
The Odisha TET Exam is state state-level exam held every year to assess candidates’ eligibility as secondary teachers. OTET Exam consists of 02 papers. Paper 1 is for primary teachers (Classes I to V) and papaer 2 for upper primary (Classes VI to VIII) schools in Odisha. OTET Exam 2024 has been rescheduled for 17th August 2024. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks to clear the OTET Exam 2024. For the general category, the qualifying marks are 45% and for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC category minimum qualifying mark is 35%.

The complete schedule for the OTET Exam 2024 has been announced by the board on its official website. OTET Paper 1 exam for primary teacher posts will be held in the morning shift from 9 am to 11:30 am and Paper 2 exam for Upper primary teacher posts will be held in the evening shift from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

OTET Exam 2024- Shift Timings
The OTET 2024 Exam will be held in two shifts. OTET 2024 Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 11:30 am and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Details regarding the exam timing, venue, shift timing etc will be released along with OTET Admit Card 2024 on 12th August 2024

OTET Exam Pattern 2024
Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha releases the OTET exam pattern 2022 for Primary & upper primary classes. The duration of the OTET Exam will be 2½ hours. Check the important details regarding OTET Exam Pattern 2024 below:
- There shall be two papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II.
- There will be 150 questions in each paper.
- The total duration of each paper shall be 2½ hours.
- The questions in the OTET Exam will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), each carrying one mark.
- The Exam will be bilingual i.e. in Odia and English.
- There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
