OSSC CGL Notification 2024 Eligibility

To be eligible to appear for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination-2024, the candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria as mentioned in OSSC CGL Notification 2024.

General Eligibility Criteria- The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently. Also,

• He/she must have passed the middle school examination with Odia as a language subject OR
• He//she must have passed the HSC examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects.
• He/she must have passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above from a school or educational institution recognized by the Odisha government.
• He/she must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English school standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha.

Education Qualification- Candidates after completing their graduation from a recognized university and must have basic computer knowledge such as proficiency in the use of Computer internet, e-mail, word processing, data analysis, and presentation.

Age Limit- Candidates who fall in the age group of 21 to 38 years (as on 01/04/2024) are eligible to apply for OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024.

OSSC CGLRE Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

The duration to complete the OSSC CGL 2024 Prelims Exam is 150 minutes and there would be 150 multiple-choice questions in the exam for 1 mark each. There will be a penalty of negative marking of 1/4th mark (if there are four options) and 1/3rd mark (if there are three options).

OSSC CGL Notification 2024 Salary

Various posts under OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024 get paid as per the Pay Levels 9 and 4 of ORSP, 2017 after being hired for the respective roles. The Junior Assistant HOD and all the Group C posts get Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200/- as per the pay level 4.
