Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially announced the exam date for the Written Examination (Advertisement No. 06 of 2025-26) for recruitment to the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer, Group B, under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment. OPSC AAO Exam will be conducted on 19th February 2026 for a total of 4872 candidates who have registered for the exam. The exam includes Papers 1 and 2, which will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 4 pm, respectively.

The candidates’ age must be between 21 to 38 years on 1/ 01/2025 i.e. the candidates must not have been born earlier than 2nd January 1987 and not later than 1st January 2004. The upper age relaxation will be provided in a reserved category as per govt. norms.

OPSC AAO Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates who are going to take the exam must know the exam pattern for OPSC Assistant Agricultural Officer Exam 2026.

• There are two papers of 200 marks- 100 marks for each paper
• The format is multiple-choice questions
• 1 mark per question
• 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• 2 hours are given to each paper.

Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on the written exam marks. The interview will be conducted for 25 marks, and the final selection is based on the marks obtained in the exam and the Interview.
